Arriving in Germany means signing contracts fast: electricity, internet, a mobile plan, sometimes a loan. Almost all of it is in German, full of terms like Grundpreis, Mindestlaufzeit and effektiver Jahreszins. easycompr explains those terms in English and compares real offers for you.

Do I need to speak German?

No. The interface and the advisory chat work in English. Only the contract itself is concluded in German with the provider — we tell you what you are agreeing to.

Can I switch providers without a German credit history?

For electricity and mobile prepaid, usually yes. Postpaid mobile contracts and loans involve a Schufa credit check, which needs a German registration address.

Is this really free?

Yes. easycompr is paid a commission by providers when a contract is concluded. Your price stays the same.

How long am I tied to a contract?

After the minimum term a contract continues indefinitely and can be cancelled with one month's notice. Since 1 March 2022 it may no longer roll over silently into another full year; for mobile, landline and internet this has applied since December 2021. Insurance contracts are excluded.
